Projects
At present, the company owns and operates approximately twenty generation and distributed energy facilities across regional Australia. With our depth of expertise and experience, SEI is able to offer infrastructure management and operational services to new and developed projects in the public and private sphere.
Distributed Solar and BESS
Sustainable Energy Infrastructure (“SEI”) and Yates Electrical Services Group (“YES Group”) have entered into a long-term agreement to develop, own, operate, maintain and manage the energy sales for a platform of mid-large scale solar farm projects in regional Australia.
CNG Facilities
SEI owns and operates 5 x Compressed Natural Gas refuelling facilities, 1 on site at Brisbane City Council’s Willawong bus depot and 4 at various Transport for NSW bus depots in metro Sydney.
ISIS Sugar Mill
The ISIS Central Sugar Mill facility is SEI’s first renewable cogeneration project that produces energy from sugar cane by-product (bagasse). Bagasse is combusted to create steam, this steam is then used to drive a turbine that produces clean, renewable electricity.
Moranbah Power Station
The Moranbah Power Station utilises the Coal Seam Methane from the Bowen Basin to provide electricity to Arrow whilst exporting 50% of this amount to the grid. Methane gas, which is 21 times more harmful than Carbon Dioxide, is vented during the coal mining process.
Coopers Brewery (Past Project)
The SEI Cogeneration Facility at Coopers Brewery includes a Solar Centaur 50S gas turbine package with the latest SoLoNOx combustion technology and a Tomlinson Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG). The steam generator produces steam by recovering the exhaust heat generated by the gas turbine.
